A mountain once sacred, shrouded in myths and history, its purity disrupted by war, the Mount Soratte, once a site of ancient worship, saw its sanctity violated with the construction of a fascist air-raid bunker, later repurposed as a nuclear shelter. In 1944, the site was even bombed by Allied B-17 Flying Fortress bombers, yet the underground structure resisted the attack. Layers of time, faith, and conflict carved into the rock.
